Holistic Healing Journey Yoga Classes

Yoga  (Gentle for everyone) this class is for everyone needs a basic stretch to improve flexibility and range of motion. Holding pose with assisted stretch to deepen the practice. Assist with the healing process of muscle pain. Calms and relaxes body and mind through breath practices. 

Class Schedule:

Tuesday - 11:45 am to 12:45 pm

Wednesday - 10:45 am to 11:45 am 

Friday at 10:45 am to 11:45 am.

Restorative Yoga -  the practice starts with a guided meditation while in the stillness of Supported Reclining pose. Most yogis know this as a Yoga lazy boy chair, in this pose your nervous system gives way into a quiet space. Perform in the mat, slowing down and opening the body through passive stretching. The pose is supported with props like blocks, bolster, blankets and chairs. The props create a gentle and mild stretch in your body and hold poses longer with ease. The whole practice allows the body and mind to relax deeply.

 Chakra Yin Yoga - Yin Yoga is a slow, gentle, transformative and meditative style of yoga. The asana (posture) are held for a longer period through passive and supported stretches. The practice will focus on 7 main chakras. You will be guided with supported poses that will allow greater access and energy flow through each chakra energy centre. This is a self love, self discovery and self awareness practice.

Chair Yoga - Practice yoga seated on the chair and using the chair to support the asanas (posture). Regular practice of chair yoga improves range of motion, flexibility, strength and balance. It also helps alleviate pains from muscle tension or tightness.

*Yoga for Better Sleep 

Wind down your day through this restorative and gentle yoga practice. This class will start with a mindful breathing practice to feel grounded and relax. Followed by restorative poses to relieve tension and stress. You can support your poses by using props like blocks, bolters or pillows and blankets. Doing this practice regularly will improve your sleep and a great stress buster.

Every first and third Saturday of the month at 11:45 am to 12:45 pm

*Yoga for better Immune System 

Practicing yoga regularly enhances overall health and helps to strengthen the immune system. This class is for everyone and great to boost your immune system. Breathing practice, stretching and moving boost circulation and releases tension. Stress reduction and relaxation have a great connection to a stronger immune system. Poses like child’s pose or happy baby pose are great poses to relax the mind and release toxins. You can use props like bolsters or pillows to support your pose.

Every second and 4th/last Saturday of the month at 11:45 am to 12:45 pm
